Meet Bob Daniel
Founding Principal of Gateway Management Company which is focused on business, investment, development and project management opportunities both for third parties as well as its own account. Currently involved as developer/development manager for multiple projects in, Aspen, Colorado and the Mountain West that range from a large ranch property, condominium development and a large scale spa/wellness/residential project to custom high end single family homes and multi-family projects.
He was the chief operating office for the Roaring Fork Club, where he was responsible for the overall business leadership of this development and private club management company. Directly reporting to the equity partners/investors for multiple projects and investments including strategic planning as well as annual business planning. He led a team that consistently out-performed the industry standard with over $17m in club membership sales from late 2008 - 2012, and was a key participant in the structuring, documentation and underwriting of an investment of over $90mm by institutional investors.
Prior to that, he worked for Hines, where he was responsible for over $600mm of resort real estate development, construction, sales and management in Colorado and Montana for one of the largest privately held real estate organizations in the world.
Robert directed the initial Hines activities associated with River Valley Ranch, a master-planned golf course community located in Carbondale, Colorado. Led the diligence, entitlements, acquisition, finance and initial stages of this 520-acre development, inclusive of the land planning, golf course design and overall community programming, and managed the project until the dedicated project team was established.
An active skier, hiker and kayaker, Robert is also an active member of the Aspen area community.
